Knowboform Submitter (Alpha version) Feature List

As KnowboForm development is in progress, a bunch of useful features are already available that are good enough to manage any site submission projects. Listed below are those features in chronological order of implementation:

12-Sep-06 to 10-Oct-06

• (Base prototype)
• Multi-tab browsing allows submitting to multiple sites at a time.
• Choose background color for fields that are automatically filled up.
• Create submission profile by selecting fields from a master field list. Reuse same field in multiple profiles.
• Specify default and profile specific field values.
• Quick switching between profiles before filling up.
• One click automatic filling-in.
• Choose values to be copied into an input field from pull down profile context menu. This feature is helpful when a field is not automatically filled-up or when a field is opted to be filled up manually.
• Database of carefully selected and reviewed thousands of directories of general and many niche categories, software download sites, and search engines. Every site has numerous attributes capturing many useful information required to effectively promote your sites and manage your submission projects.

11-Oct-06

• Ad hoc site sort and filter options. Appropriate filter would limit your selection to necessary subset of sites according to your choice. You can apply filter based on numerous (some twenty plus) site characteristics or parameters such as category, pricing, registration requirement, page rank, time of approval, quality, ease of submission, and so on.
• Record your submission with a single button click which automatically fill-in some key submission information.

12-Oct-06

• Switch profile and copy another profile's field value from the profile context menu.

13-Oct-06

• Save user's filter, sort, and other settings as the default. Restore back the options during next login.
• Quickly lookup domain name embedded in the address bar URL within the site list.
• Navigate to Submit URL directly if available.
• Reset filter options before searching a site within all available sites. Apply the filter back after when required.
• Auto look-up previously selected domain after re-sorting or when a new filter is applied.

14-Oct-06

• Manual fill-in: Specify which fields in a particular profile are not to be filled-up automatically.
• Switching between browser tabs would auto select the related site domain of the page in the selected tab.
• (Disabled on 02-Nov-06: Site or SubmitURL open in a new tab.)
• Profile context menu on "Fill" button. This would allow to copy the field value for manual filling.

18-Oct-06

• Quickly copy Submit URL and Search URL into the site record.
• Quickly capture site characteristics by just selecting a few radio buttons.

19-Oct-06

• Create submission profile by copying another profile or a template profile.
• Template profiles are available for directory submission, software PAD file submission, non-PAD software submission, and search engine submission.
• No deletion is possible for any standard record with [IsFactory] flag set.

23-Oct-06

• Compact Database in a single click.

24-Oct-06 to 27-Oct-06

• Login using user id and password.
• Create, modify, load and apply preset filters.

02-Oct-06

• Google Site Search for a single site.
• Google Site Search for multiple sites in batch to automatically search for accepted listings on the sites you submitted.

05-Nov-06

• Generate, display, and print HTML submission report.

07-Nov-06

• Export submission data to TAB delimited text file.
